Indie Games Development and Drones Bootcamp 2/6

Two camps for the price of one! Learn game dev in the morning and drones in the afternoon!
This game development camp is a beginner immersive workshop that explores the basic tools, art assets, brush tools, environment design, player health, player movement, and help you build the basic know-how of game development with the Unity Game Engine.
Explore the exciting world of drones while learning basic flying skills and knowledge with three hours of drone fun per day. You will be introduced to the CineLog 25 4S Analog CineWhoop Drone, a popular platform for freestyle flying featuring stable electronic equipment, advanced frame materials, and customized EVA protective foam cushioning.

Morning: Welcome and registration. Get setup and learn how to download Unity, create an account and more. Learn how to use the asset store and incorporate game assets into your game. GAME ON!

Afternoon: Introduction to drones

TUESDAY | JUNE 13

Morning: We will start you off with working with interactable prefabs using a moving platform where Ellen (heroine) can interact with. Learn to interact with doors, enemies, and dealing with player health.

Afternoon: Practice flight, including safety

WEDNESDAY | JUNE 14

Morning: Game environment: Learn how to decorate your scene with painter tools, prefabs, and ground cover. You also learn how to use the teleport system to teleport your player from one location of the scene to the other.

Afternoon: Tuning your GEPRC

Morning: Explore how to use ProBuilder a tool that creates and edit 3D objects in Unity. The PolyBrush a tool used to create an realistic surfaces. In addition to we will be making a pool of Acid as a hazard for Ellen.
